Shattered glass represents a screen pixelated image, and narrates the distance - something in between - a viewer and the image. Bouncing reflections and artificial brightness.
A single drawn line is generally of little value by the simplicity of its making or time to create. Each 1cm square acetate has been hand cut and individually glued to the surface, adding value. Various hand techniques have been used to create this work.
Each stage in the production of making the series is made by hand. Using pin hole camera, chemigram and cliche verre techniques, cutting, gluing 1cm squares to generate a digital-like image.
